This painting is oil on canvas with a mixed media underpainting. The most dominate background colors are pink, orange, and teal The dimensions are 16"x16"x1.5". The edges are painted with a mixed variety of teal colors. The painting is varnished and slightly glossy. A hanging wire can be added to the back if requested or left without for framing.
The inspiration for the painting is the lotus flower They grow in water that is filled with dirt and mud and actually clean toxins from that dirty water. So to me it represents the spiritual renewal made possible by the redeeming work of Jesus. There are a mixture of other abstract flowers in the background as well.
